This year we spent our 9-day family vacation at Pam's house on Gull Lake. We decided we just wanted to go away but stay put at the same time, so it seemed right! There were too many fun things for me to remember, so on the way home each person got to say what his or her most memorable part of vacation was. Here they are:
Mary Cate: Won't remember any of it, but I'll remember how she didn't sleep at all because she was getting new teeth and being grumpy about not being able to crawl quite yet. She liked swimming, though!
Eddie: Trains.
DJ: Swimming and the 4th of July parade.
Annie: The zoo, swimming to the raft, pushing Nellie in the water, playing with cousins, floating with Alexa.
Nellie: Tubing, playing with siblings, pushing Dad in the lake, playing "WWW" (Wernet Water Wonders, I think?)
Me: The zoo, swimming - especially Mary Cate's first time in the lake, seeing the fireworks from the boat.
Kevin: Tubing.
