This week, it felt like we had settled into a smooth routine. But stay tuned...
Roger delivered several pounds of raw peanuts. So...we tried our hand at peanut butter!
We all know Mary and Eddie are buddies, but DJ is also a great helper and can be extremely patient with her...they are kind of peas in a pod, after all. They really bonded this week.
We walked to the schoolyard so that the boys could "throw balls as hard as they could" and Eddie taught Mary to throw the baseball. Point...step...throw! It was adorable.
Kevin and the kids coordinated secret Mother's Day plans, so Kevin and I got away from the house for a few hours to deliver Mother's Day gifts to family and check on Woldumar. It felt like heaven. On Saturday night, we ate dinner and the kids were acting wild so we sent them outside to play. Then, I was standing at the sink washing dishes when Annie came to get me to help Nellie. She had fallen and was certain she'd broken her leg again. She did. And that was that for Week 8.
